dnahome was a dream many years before it became anything. Two creative people - Danny and Amy - committed to walk together in 2008, built a welcoming home full of personality and fun and decided to share their art with the world. 

dnahome is rooted in creativity and care and is shaped by our favourite things and the wonderful people we share our lives with.

Amy

Lover of cats, craft, Christmas and boybands(!), and the creator behind dnahome.

I’ve always loved to make things. Crafting is where I switch off from daily stresses and let my ideas turn into something tangible. I love to make items that feel personal and unique. dnahome grew out of that instinct: to create pieces that bring comfort, character and a bit of WOW into everyday life.

At heart, I’m a home‑lover. It's where my cats are and so it's where I love to be. I'm a believer in holding onto the things that fill your life with joy. And if that means feeling a little bit festive in July, then go for it!

Danny

Danny is the hugely supportive force behind the scenes: the problem‑solver, market helper, website builder, and all‑round gorgeous human who keeps everything moving.

dnahome wouldn’t exist without his support and willingness to jump in wherever he’s needed, whether that’s fixing something technical, lifting boxes, or using his illustrator skills to meet all my design needs!

Timmy & Penny

Tim and Pen are the loves of each other's lives and the creators of chaos, pure joy, laughter and mess in our home.

Tim has the best belly, a huge heart, and not a single tooth! He’s an empath through and through, always tuned into the mood of the room. Pen keeps us all on our toes with 100% orange-cat energy, making sure there’s never a dull moment. They are a constant reminder that life is better when you have a best friend to share it with.

Fiona

Fiona, our beautiful granddaughter (Charlotte’s daughter), is a sweet princess who brings a special joy to our lives. I imagine it's how grandparents feel about their human grandkids - it's just different. She has had a wonderful, balanced life of adventure, appreciation for the outdoors, and love for people.

Gone but Never Forgotten

Our home and our hearts have been shaped by some very special souls who are no longer with us. They are still a massive part of our story.

Charlotte
Our first cat together. Beautiful, particular, and completely unforgettable. 

George
A very special orange boy who greeted children and adults alike on their way to the school near our house. Friendly, gentle, and deeply loved by so many people.

Mikey
A quiet, sweet boy who appeared one day and simply stayed. Named after Michael Jackson (who Amy loves) because he was black and white. 

Tobias
Came to us from London in search of a new home. He carried the marks of a difficult past and sometimes struggled to settle, but he was part of our family and loved without question.

Hyena
Our first heartbreak. Fearless and full of spirit, but taken far too soon. She taught us how deeply we could love.

dnahome is about creativity and crafting special pieces. Every piece is handmade and entirely unique, just like DNA 🧬
